Alessandro Lanaro founded MODO in 1990 in Soho, New York. MODO has evolved into a global company that designs, manufactures, and distributes portfolios of house brands, designer brands, and contemporary lifestyle brands.

New York, Milano, and Stockholm city life inspire the MODO eyewear collection. Frames are designed with the goal of providing seamless functionality with minimalist aesthetic.

Thomas Burberry, a young dressmaker, founded Burberry in 1856. Thomas was only 21 years old when he opened his first store on Winchester Street, Basingstoke. The brand focused on providing quality outdoor attire to British sportsmen. In 1879, Thomas Burberry invented gabardine, a tightly woven weatherproof fabric, which revolutionized rainwear and led to the invention of the classic Burberry trench coat. Burberry is also known for its distinctive check pattern that can be found on scarfs and the lining of the trench coat.

Burberry introduced eyewear to its collection in 2006 during its 150th anniversary. The optical collection from Burberry has a variety of classic rectangular and round frames with a contemporary London twist. Flexon utilizes titanium-nickel alloy formula to produce some of the most flexible glasses on the market. The memory metal titanium allows the temples to always return back to its original shape if accidentally flexed, bent, or twisted. Titanium-nickel alloy weighs 25% less than other metals making the fames very comfortable to wear all day.

The dresses would become more of hit with her customers than the juice. Lillian ditched the juice stand and decided to focus on fashion, thus Lilly Pulitzer was created. Marc Jacobs @marcjacobs

Born in NYC in 1963, Marc Jacobs graduated from Parsons School of Design, where he was the youngest designer ever to receive the CFDA's Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent.
